Safety & Control

Will Proofly change my store automatically?

No. Proofly never makes changes without your explicit approval. All AI-suggested fixes are shown to you for review in the dashboard. You can approve, edit, or reject each suggestion. Nothing goes live without your consent.

Is Proofly safe?

Yes. Proofly uses read-only access during audits. Changes require your approval. Every change is logged with before/after snapshots and can be rolled back with one click.

Can I undo changes made by Proofly?

Yes. Every change is logged in the Proof Ledger with before/after snapshots. You can rollback any change with one click from the dashboard.

How often does Proofly run?

You control the scan schedule. The Free plan includes a monthly audit. Paid plans include more frequent audits based on your tier.

Is this compliant with Shopify policies?

Yes. Proofly complies with all Shopify App Store requirements. We use secure OAuth authentication, transparent data usage, and never make unauthorised changes to merchant stores.

What is the Change Timeline?

The Change Timeline tracks every product change in your catalog with field-level diffs and before/after snapshots. You can see whether changes were made by Proofly or externally, and rollback any change with one click. Available on Growth (30-day retention) and Scale (90-day retention) plans.

What is Feed Readiness?

Feed Readiness scores your products against the requirements of Google Shopping, Meta Commerce, and TikTok product feeds. It identifies missing required fields (GTINs, brand, condition, etc.) so you can fix them before your products get rejected from advertising channels.

What is Duplicate Content Detection?

Proofly identifies products that share identical descriptions or SEO metadata. Duplicate content hurts search rankings and causes keyword cannibalisation. Proofly flags duplicates so you can create unique content for each product.

Does Proofly work with all product types?

Yes. Proofly works with physical products, digital products, and services. All Shopify product types are supported.

Can I customise which checks run?

Not yet. All stores receive the same comprehensive audit. Customisation options are planned for future releases.

Does Proofly integrate with other apps?

Proofly works independently and doesn't require integrations with other apps. It connects directly to your Shopify store via the Admin API.

What is an "Agent Blocker"?

An Agent Blocker is a store quality issue that prevents AI shopping agents from making purchases. Common examples:

Do I need this if I don't care about AI agents?

Yes. The same "clean data" that helps AI agents also improves:

Pricing & Billing

Is there a free plan?

Yes. The Free Starter plan supports up to 100 products with a monthly audit. No credit card required.

How is billing handled?

Billing is managed through Shopify. Charges appear on your Shopify invoice alongside other app subscriptions.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. All plans are monthly with no long-term contracts. Cancel anytime from the Shopify admin. No cancellation fees.

Do you offer refunds?

Paid plans include a 14-day free trial. If you're not satisfied during the trial, you won't be charged. After the trial, billing follows Shopify's standard refund policy.
